An art research, architect, and visual designer based in Los Angeles. Her practice is situated at the intersection of art and graphic design and actively engages relationships between critical theory, interdisciplinary collaboration, and making things visible.
Her practice focuses on the project of design–its entanglement within a techno-social system and its effects. Her work problematizes notions of aesthetics, agency, instrumentalism, participation, and knowledge for reorientation beyond current forms of practice.
She studied architecture for three years in Iran and five years at California State Polytechnic University and continues on film studies. Previously, she worked at Johnston MarkLee, Loescher Meachem, and Omgivning. She is drawn to making art and figures. Through the twin disciplines of handbuilding and wheel throwing, I breathe life into clay, transforming raw earth into functional art and sculptural wonders. My handbuilt pieces celebrate organic forms and textural depth, each uniquely shaped by thoughtful fingers and innovative tools.
